Dear Diary,
Sometime during the night, I stepped into the mirror. I woke up and nothing was as it seemed. Doc snapped at me, but he didn’t really snap at me, he was joking with me. I didn’t take it as a joke. Another thing happened that made me think I did something wrong, but then I found out I didn’t do anything wrong. I turned on the a/c and ten minutes later it was set to 5 degrees higher and still not on. Nothing is right today. I am so confused.
I got my new phone. I’m waiting for it to charge so I can set up my contacts and activate it. It’s essentially the same as my old phone. A little sleeker, the display is about 8mm larger and it has a headphone outlet, which is useless because I don’t use a headset to make calls, and the phone doesn’t store or stream music. It calls and texts. That’s it. Some day I hope to get a real cell phone account and smart phone, but for now, the free phone does well, as long as Doc is in town. When he was gone, I spent $90 on minutes. Way more expensive than $35 a month. But that almost never happens. And when he leaves again, Kelli will be here, so there will be no need for her to call me.
I guess that’s all I have to say. My new phone has been charging for four hours and it still won’t turn on. Nothing is as it seems.
