It's a tweet from about a week ago. I wondered aloud if I wanted to start collecting and distributing feminine hygiene products to homeless women in Las Vegas, how would I go about it, and was anyone interested in such an effort. And apparently it just got seen by a large-ish homeless charity account and is being retweeted and distributed all over twitter right now. My initial goal with this was to get the goods to women who typically stay on the streets, don't go to food pantries, or shelters, where they can get these items. Going to where they live, seeing it, getting to know the women, and helping them out.
I was just daydreaming, wondering one night what I would possibly want to do that would get me out of the house and doing something good for someone else. And this idea hit me right smack between the eyes. I had hoped someone would pick up on it, but I never imagined . . . you guys know how I am ignored. It's all I talk about. But it's going viral now, and I may find some people who are interested in this and willing and able to help. This could be really cool. I mean really cool. I could help out some sisters.
Girl Things For Every Girl! That's what I'll call it.
