i've been busy all day
no luck so far with the mp3 drivers. no luck with the cams. no luck with my giving a fuck about it right now.
i've been going through bags and boxes getting rid of things and finding stuff. moving stuff around and eliminating stuff. things i should have done before we moved or at least in the past year we've been here.
next i'm going to tackle the file cabinet. it's stuffed full of things that are more than 7 years old. time to pack it away and start fresh. once doc, who is napping, wakes up, i have stuff to move into my room. and stuff to hang. i hung up a series of small collages i did some years ago in my room. they've never been on display before. they are really cool, too.
i've asked doc to clean off a shelf on a short book case we have so i can put travel and leisure books up there. i have a travel thing going on in that area that i want to continue. eventually i will take the brown thing on top of the shelf and paint it black to go with the shelf. i also want to see if i can remove the CD storage area on it. it was a trash pick, piece of furniture with potential.
speaking of furniture, we're getting a chaise this weekend. freecycle rocks. i don't know what color it is. it was the end piece of a sectional. i'm thinking i will replace the love seat with it and put the love seat out on the patio. eventually i will go to the thrift store and get a couple of floral sheets to go over it loosely. i have to remind doc to call the woman when he wakes up so it doesn't go to someone else.
the rain stopped long enough ago for the yard to be dry and the sun has gone behind a cloud. perfect time for me to go finish raking the yard. bye.
