so beautiful out

instead of taking a nap, i went out for a walk and a soda. i got some hostess donettes and reese's pieces, too. candy is expensive now. i think i had this rant the last time i bought a candy bar. i won't do it again, it makes me feel old.

you know what else makes me feel old? listening to the 20 somethings talk about 9/11. i still lived in this apartment when it happened.

i'll be thinking about it on sunday, but i'm not giving in to the media and watching three days of coverage on it.

one talking head woke me up today with the question, "what if 9/11 never happened?". and to be honest, i never thought about it. but i have been thinking about it all day. cheney still would have existed, but he may never have had the chance to do the damage he did.
