i just spent an hour doing my favorite thing on earth: lounging with felix in bed. now we're up and i notice the heat has come back. it had been in the 90s since the humidity broke last week, now it's back into the 100s. too hot for felix to lounge out on the balcony. he's in his high spot by the hamster cage staring at me. i love this cat.

doc is asleep and M has his girlfriend over. so i'm alone as long as i'm quiet. i might go up to the corner store and get a soda.

we went to the bank yesterday and have to go back monday. they have to check their legal dept before they can open the account because it's complicated. but i may end up with my own debit card, which was my goal. and a bank account for my checks to go into automatically. they're doing away with paper checks and going to direct deposit or debit card only. and the debit card would be in doc's name, so i didn't want to go that route. i want some independence.
