M and i are supposed to go to the double down tonight for new year's eve and i'm overstressed and don't think i can handle that many people and that much noise, but i don't know how to cancel. i want M to have fun but i'm one big raw nerve. plus i don't feel good physically.

i want to see the fireworks . . . but we can watch them on tv.

and part of me just doesn't want to return to the double down fat and mostly toothless.

i'll figure something out.
