this little Rio Chiba is the shit. i can put any 53 songs i want on it with a couple of clicks. i can change them out for others. it is a dream, just plug it into the computer and turn it on and open the program. there's even a search feature so i don't have to look through my hundreds of songs to find what i want. or i can browse. i'm sure this is all very old to owners of mp3 players, but it's so new to me that i'm just blown away at how good it sounds and how it fits in my pocket when i walk around the house.

when you first plug it in you get to name it. i named it freedom. because that is what it means to me. now all i need is the perfect messenger bag. but i'll find that when i'm meant to.
