today is a rest day

a real rest day. i think i'll burn season two of farscape today while i make jewelry. i have written alisa and told her to take the day off completely. she deserves it. no one has ever worked so hard with me to make me into a success. few have believed in me like she does. and she works so hard, i can't believe the time she is devoting to me and to this book. i mean, she even finds typos - how great is that?

but we've been going for three and a half weeks straight. and we deserve a day off.

though i know in my heart that after i've made all the things i've been designing in my head, i'll likely sit down and open up one of the documents and start messing with it.

anyone know of a free or cheap program that will let mac users use word documents? right now i'm just converting them to PDF and sending her those, but she can't make notes in the document and it would be a great help if she could. thanks in advance mac users - you know who you are. hee.
