we found a tree. apparently pre-lit trees are the thing this season and both Big Lots and WalMart have them in the four foot size. doc says wait until after thanksgiving, but they'll be sold out by then. so i'm bugging him about it now. and i haven't even found the decorations yet. but i can worry about that after we have the tree. i even have some delicious black fabric to use as a tree skirt. doc made room for the tree last night by distributing the stack of electronics to the appropriate places. kelli got a VCR that is only good

jack stayed in bed with me for fuzzle time for a half an hour this morning. each morning he stays a bit longer. i'm almost positive that as he matures, he will want fuzzle time outside of the bed area. even if he doesn't, i still have mornings with him. he's wandering around bored right now. he paces when he's bored. he circles the apartment in a predictable pattern. sometimes i follow him around when he does this. if i follow him long enough he will rub against my shins. so cute.
