three hours trying to install a soundcard and i give up. i'll just wait until we upgrade this machine saturday.

part of me wants to study computer hardware, part of me wants to bash it in.

i'll learn a lot saturday, at least i will if the new motherboard works. i haven't heard from B so i don't know what the deal is. maybe it is too much to hope for. i hope not.

the little computer will remain a pentium 1 or two, whatever it is now. this one will go up to three, provided everything works out.

i still can't understand why the serial number of the soundcard revealed nothing at the website. oy.

i need to go vacuum or something, get away from this infernal machine.
