despite the threats of the clouds, we went and had a very nice picnic. R's sister made the food, all we had to do was show up. it was great. truth be told, i think i over extended myself with the being social thing, it has been a full day and i'm feeling kind of frazzled. but then it has been so long since i've had a full social day that it isn't all that surprising.
