when you get here we have to go to lake mead. a lot. it isn't the beach, but the water is blue again and R and i found a spot where the water laps like wavelettes and it smells like the shore (there were even tons of tiny shells strewn around). it is the most perfect place i have found in this desert of wonders, we walked on marble made of sand and quartz and the sky was bigger than it was in texas that time and i can't wait for you to experience it!
